A: All our meet venues have a drinking water tap and a chemical toilet disposal facility. Some meet venues may have a rubbish disposal point, showers or electric hook-up points. When a meet venue has electric hook-up points these may need to be booked before attending the meet. To check the facilities available at a meet view our Events pages. (See Event Map for details)

A: There is no need to book to attend most of our meets. Some of the sites that we use may have limited space and they will be designated as a Booked Meet. To check if you need to book view our Events pages. (See Event Map for details)

A: When you arrive at a meet you should report to the Steward, they will be pitched close to the site entrance. The Steward will ask to see your Camping and Caravanning Club membership card, explain where you may pitch your unit and point out the location of the drinking water tap, chemical toilet disposal facilities and any other facilities that are available.

A: No, the Camping and Caravanning Club has a Certificate of Exemption that allows us to run our meets within restrictions laid down under Planning Law. The Certificate of Exemption places strict limits on the times a meet can be open that cannot be varied.

A: We try and organise group walks at our meets but we rely on our volunteers to lead them. We do not know in advance which, if any, volunteer walk leaders will be present at a meet and if they will be available to lead a walk. We are therefore unable to guarantee that there will be group walks available at a meet. Participation in a group walk is at your own risk.

A: You are unlikely to find formal group cycle rides available at a meet. Our cycling members usually plan their own rides either singly or in small groups. Participation in a cycle ride with others is at your own risk.
